With a single platform, Siluria unlocks access to multiple industries across global markets:
Natural Gas
At the current rate of consumption, the earth has a 45-year supply of oil compared to nearly 1,000 years of natural gas1. Despite having access to such a widely available resource, natural gas suppliers have limited markets for their product. Siluria’s technology creates uses for natural gas beyond heating and electricity. For the first time, providers can enter the multi trillion-dollar market for chemicals and liquid fuels.

Chemicals
By enabling the use of low-cost natural gas in the production of ethylene, our technology will reduce costs by tens of billions of dollars per year, improving the economics of the entire supply chain. The process is more efficient than energy-intensive petroleum cracking, thereby reducing oil consumption by hundreds of millions of barrels per year, generating further cost savings and carbon emission reductions.
Siluria’s technology provides stability and flexibility for chemical manufactures. It is compatible with current industry infrastructure and can extend the useful life of existing facilities.
Materials
Improving lifecycle environmental performance of products is an increasingly important competitive advantage. Siluria’s process helps manufacturers reduce the environmental footprint of their products from TVs to housing materials to medical devices - from the first molecule.
Transportation Fuels
Energy for transportation is almost entirely dependent on petroleum, with mounting social and environmental costs. Siluria’s process uses renewable stable resources of natural gas to produce the same liquid fuels that already power the vast majority of vehicles. No new distribution networks are required, and it becomes possible for fuel production to happen closer to the source of renewable methane.
